Sankara is a freelance travel blogger and travel photographer. His key areas of interest are ‘Wildlife Photography’, Backpacking and ‘Adventure Travel’. He also has entrepreneurial interests in the Indian Adventure Travel and Tourism market. Prior to this, Sankara managed business development in Asia Pacific for a technology product development services company. Within the technology industry, Sankara has managed/handled various sales, presales, marketing and business development roles over a tenure of 9 years.
Additionally, Sankara serves as an 'Executive Grease Monkey' at Motours - a Bangalore based motorcycle adventure company.
Sankara is truly at home when he is on the road meeting new people and making acquaintances, exploring places, forests, wildlife, cuisines, cultures, languages and its history.
Sankara is an ardent motorcycling lover, wildlife researcher and enthusiast, keen bird watcher, hiker, explorer, photographer, videographer and an avid reader.
Sankara treasures all the moments when his adrenalin levels soared during adventure. Though, it has to be said that some of these moments have skirted with real danger.

When he is not ‘on the road’, Sankara loves to train in the gym, go for some boxing bouts, stay on top of the latest technological trends in the market, listen to more or less all genres of music, and spend as much time with family and close friends.
Sankara holds a Bachelors' degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology, University of Madras. He is based at Bangalore, India and his buddy on wheels is a Royal Enfield Thunderbird Twinspark 350cc motorcycle.
