Travel Photo of the Day: Lodrawa Jain Temple, India

Ludrava Jain Temple, Rajasthan, India

A stunning Jain temple in the middle of the Thar desert, the Lodrawa Jain Temple is dedicated to the 23rd Tirthankara. The entrance gateway and the jharokas are two of its highlights. From the Lodruwa Rajputs to the Bhatti Rajput clan to the siege of Mahmud of Ghazni, this temple has seen it all. This temple and the Lodruwa village offers an off-beat option of exploring the Thar desert around Jaisalmer.
