Bangalore or Bengaluru, the Silicon Valley of India is famous for more than just being an IT hub. From the amalgamation of different cultures to the weather and the safety of women, it brings the best out of everything. They say, “you have to live and breathe in a city to know it,” and every bit it stands true for Bangalore. If you have never been to Bangalore, we suggest that you certainly do. Bangalore has a distinct culture that every urbanite will love. From food, nightlife, sightseeing, and hotels in Bangalore, there is everything for everybody.

Bangalore is nestled on the Deccan plateau at an elevation of 3,000 ft. above sea level which is even higher than Dehradun! The city has a consistent climate throughout the year. Temperatures are moderate and generally on the cooler side. No other metro city has pleasant weather like Bangalore, and it feels almost utopian.

The unofficial Pub Capital of India, Bangalore has the highest number of pubs in Asia. There is a pub or a microbrewery at every corner of this city. An insane music culture, Bangalore also hosts the highest number of concerts in India. The city features both international, and Indian musical acts. Breath-taking parks dotted along the entire city makes up for a large green cover. There are nationally recognized gardens such as the Lal Bagh and Cubbon Park which offer incredible views. It is common to see people hanging out and appreciating nature in its most simplistic ways. The people of Bangalore also invest their time in maintaining Organic Terrace Gardens in their localities and add to the green quotient of the city. Also, Bangalore has more than 200 lakes and tanks, a number greater than anywhere else in India. Incredible Bangalore, right?

Bangalore has a comparatively lower crime rate among other metropolitans and is consistently rated as a safe city for women. Whether it is walking alone in narrow lanes or traveling in a bus at night, there are hardly any instances of eve-teasing. Besides that more women are taking unconventional jobs and are even driving buses and taxis to make a living. Such incredible feats by women are among the reasons how Bangalore is accepting the change. Women are actively participating in empowering themselves, and it is changing the face of our society for good.
