Travel Photo of the Day: Airavateeswara Temple, India

Airavateeswara Temple, Tamil Nadu, India

One of the 3 temples from the Great Living Chola Temples, the Airavateeswara Temple located near Kumbakonam in Tamil Nadu is famous for its  intricate and detailed carving and for its chariot structure (similar to that of the Konark Sun Temple). It is the pinnacle of architecture out of the 3 Great Living Chola Temples, which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
