Oh man! You are living everyone’s dream! I wish I had your life!
This is possibly the most common reaction that I have received after I shared my personal story with people. And it was possibly this very reaction that instigated me to get into the world of ‘public speaking’ and help make this so called ‘dream’…a reality!
As someone who lives, breathes and makes money through the world of active travel, I have been privileged to see life from a different pedestal. I have learnt that it is okay to be scared, that failure in the real world augurs very well on your resume and on your overall persona, that hard work always pays maybe slowly but surely, that it is okay to think and be different, that living your dream is the best gift you can give yourself and that our world has space for all kinds of people to show, hone and live their skills. And I am still your regular middle class Indian who grew up in a small town and who hails from an orthodox family.
