Happy to let you all know that I have been mentioned in another Top India Travel Bloggers list. This time by the Great Indian Travel Route, a group of offbeat travel planners who focus on affordable luxury, local expertise and customized travel itineraries. This list features 10 Indian travel bloggers including me and I am very happy to be featured in their company. Many of them are friends and fellow travellers.

The interesting thing about this article is that whoever put it together has researched the travel styles of each travel blogger very well. Usually, they just take whatever is mentioned in the ‘About Us’ or similar pages. But, here, they talk about my road trips, interest in uncanny routes, focus on rustic India, my love for vegetarian food and keen enthusiasm in mother nature. Kudos to the author of this article.

It gives me immense pleasure to let you all know that yours truly has been featured in the free press journal newspaper. In this article, Free press journal brings the journey of three individuals who quit their jobs to travel the world. Mentioned in Live Mint on the Fruit and Vegetable Festivals of India

Yours truly was mentioned last Saturday on the Mint Travel Lounge supplement of the Hindustan Times Newspaper in an article called ‘A Farm of Happiness’.

We Indians love our festivals and we have so many of them. Yet, each one holds a special place in our hearts. This article on Mint Travel Lounge written by Deepika Gumaste talks about the traditional fruit and vegetable festivals of India, which are not only unique and colorful, but they find a way to appeal to our palates and that is what makes them so very special. From the Konkan fruit fest in April to the International Mango Festival in Delhi and from the Kadalekai Parishe festival in Bangalore to the tea festival of Assam in November, there are so many names that will boggle and amaze your mind. May be, the next time, you should time your holidays with these festivals so that you can experience these special fruit and vegetable festivals of India. A perfect recipe for healthy travel!

I am very happy to let you all know that yours truly has been mentioned on Deccan Chronicle along with other eminent mobile photographers and bloggers in an article titled ‘See Change’ on the Sunday Chronicle (dated Feb 25, 2018) that talks about the world of mobile photography and how it has evolved into one of the most popular modes of expression. This article dissects the positives and negatives of cell phone photography and talks about its powerful presence in one’s hand, how the complex world of photography is getting simplified and more accessible to the common man and also the obsessive nature of clicking selfies and pretty much lots of photos that add nothing but clutter in our lives. If you use your mobile camera a lot, you might want to give this lovely article a read through.

As someone who is slowly using the phone camera more and more often instead of my DSLR, I am definitely making the switch and I think phone cameras these days make for fabulous photography tools. They are not only easily accessible, but simple to use, less intrusive and aid in faster post processing. But, I also believe that sometimes we should live in the moment, instead of thoughtlessly clicking more and more selfies and pictures. That way, it is a win-win for you as well as others!
