Port Blair’s Marine Drive in the evening!!

Port Blair’s marine drive, unlike the marine drives of other larger cities is clean and sparsely populated.


And, when it comes to an evening walk, this marine drive offers a surreal experience. The gentle breeze from the Bay of Bengal, the curvy roads and the hills in the background mesmerize the traveller.

 
And if it is a clear evening, one can even catch the sun setting behind the hills and when this event takes place, the entire marine drive is blanketed in beautiful orange.

 
Since one can experience all this without the noise of automobiles, loud crowds or pesky hawkers selling their ware, this marine drive becomes even more special.
