Stripe Throated Yuhina from Western Arunachal Pradesh’s Eaglenest Wildlife Sanctuary

My birding experience at Eaglenest Wildlife Sanctuary was fantastic and I spotted so many different birds. Some for the first time in my life. But, the bird that gave me the best poses was the Stripe Throated Yuhina.


Not only did I get to see them many a time during my 3 day trip, but they also seemed to be comfortable in my presence.

Stripe Throated Yuhina at Eaglenest Wildlife Sanctuary

Last month, I spent 3 days at Eaglenest Wildlife Sanctuary as part of my backpacking trip to North East India. The idea was to do quality birding at this remote location of Arunachal Pradesh. Birders primarily come here for the small birds and boy, these guys are really pretty.
